Speciale: Stanisla (Accessori in Lana e feltro) (Accessories in Wool and Felt)

Buona domenica a tutti, oggi vi annuncio che ritorno con un grandissima novità, arrivati quasi 50 post in questo mio blog ho deciso di inagurare, con questo post, anche le recensioni in lingua inglese, vedendo le statistiche mi sono accorto, difatti, che la maggior parte dei miei lettori, sono anglofoni.

Ma non perdiamo tempo,e  partiamo subito con un altra nuovissima recensione, in particolare, il negozio che oggi andrò a recensire si chiama "Stanisla", nome che proviene dall'omonimo nome della creatrice, la storia di questo e-shop, è davvero curiosa e pertanto cercherò per quanto possibile di illustrarvela.

La nostra storia inizia, circa cinque anni fa, quando qualcuno aveva dato a Stanisla, una collana di feltro bagnato, come semplice regalo, nulla di speciale, ma tuttavia, Stanisla non aveva mai visto nulla di simile, e è rimasta colpita, così dalla tecnica e dai materiali, ecco quindi come è iniziato il suo viaggio in questo mondo, ha iniziato così, a creare gioielli e produrre centinaia di altri prodotti.

Conoscendo o il materiale, Stanisla ha capito, subito che il suo potenziale era illimitato, e questo è stato il suo punto di svolta in questo suo lavoro. Decidendo però di essere più consapevole, e di asusmere le proprie responsabilità, difatti,. sebbene usato tantissima lana prodotto industrialmente, ha deciso di allargare i suoi orizzonti, scoprendo un nuovo modo di essere creativi, scoprendo tinture di fibre naturali con le piante, e fattorie organiche dalle quali acquistare lana. La conoscenza di questa nuova comunità eco-friendly formata da agricoltori, feltrai, filatori, tintori naturali, ha permesso a Stanisla di essere molto più cosciente e creare un handmade naturale, dove l'ispirazione è data dalla vita della natura stessa, in modo tale che creare ogni nuova creazione è davvero una sensazione unica.

Stanisla, tuttavia, ha davvero grandi ispirazioni per il futuro, come scoprire sempre più nuovi materiali veramente natural per l'artiginiato, oppure avere un suo personale gregge di epcore e un giardino composto da piante dove estrarre i color per le sue creazioni.

Our story begins about  five years ago, when someone gave to Stanisla handmade wet felted necklace as a gift. Just few woolen beads on a string, but I shenever saw anything like that,  and was very impressed and curious about technique and material they were made with. That'show, as it began its journey in this world. She started making  jewelry and created hundreds of toys.

Getting to know material better, Stanisla realized it's potential was limitless. That was the turning point in her work. So she decided to be more conscious about her  choices and take responsibility for what she makes. Though she still had a lot of industrially produced wool,  she turned to more eco conscious ways of creating things. She found organic heritage sheep farm to buy wool from and started learning about dyeing natural fibers with plants. She discovered whole new word of creative people taking more natural and eco friendly approach to how and what they do. Farmers, felters, spinners, knitters, natural dyers, ecoprint artists, also those who produce tools for all sorts of fiber arts and crafts.

This creative community, conscious handmade way of life and nature itself gives her all the inspiration she need for my work. Whenever she hug a sheep at the farm, spin on a handmade spindle made from reclaimed wood or gather plants for my dyeing pot she see beauty and power of real down to earth life and want to pass this happy feeling on in my creations.

Mastering fiber related crafts is her dreams. she is already learning spinning on a spinning wheel, looking out for weaving loom that will fit in my studio while trying to win endless battle with crochet and knitting needles. Maybe one day she will even have my own sheep flock and garden blooming with dyeing plants!
And she hope that eventually I'll be not only able to work solely with organic naturally dyed fibers myself, but also tempting others to give it a try themselves by providing truly natural materials for hand crafts.
